Our New Deck
After much debate and consideration Scott and I finally agreed on a deck style. Though it's not exactly what we wanted, it's still a beautiful deck and will do it's job nicely. So far, with the exception of rainy days, Scott and I have enjoyed it since it's been built.
Before Shots (Kind of)
The "kind of" is because I've been really bad about my camera and taking pictures of anything that's not Jack.
This is what our deck first looked like. Well, pretend there's a rail and steps to the right. You can see where the railing was by looking at the baseboards.
It was tiny. Not much room for anything more than a grill and a few chairs.
The begining
Once we chose our deck design and the lumber was purchased, Scott and Dad dug four holes and cemented in the main supports for the deck. Then the deck began to look more like a deck.

Jack's Foot Print
Jack didn't like the thought of his foot going into something it didn't belong. He gave me a real fuss over it.

This is the original deck. Scott spend a few hours power washing it. I think it turned out wonderfuly.
