Lugnuts Outing 2006
For the past few years the Cords family has gathered together at Oldsmobile Park in Lansing to watch the Lugnuts play on Father's Day. Well this year we gathered a week earlier due to no home game for the Luggies but we had even more fun than ever.
For an extra surprise, all of us kids decided to pitch in and rent a party bus. Dad and Janet were so shocked, it was great!

Here Dad and Janet find their place in the back of the bus and get settled in for a bumpy ride. Seriously, it was really bumpy back there!

Brooke, Jonah and Steve traveled up from Vicksburg to attend their first Cords' family Lugnut's outing. Brooke and Steve are expecting their second child in August.

Brittany, Scott and myself ham it for the camera. Brittany is my "twin" sister. She's just nine years younger than me. I turned 30 this year and Britt turned 21! Big miles stones for both of us.

Jonah decided he wanted to sit in the back of the bus with Granny and Grampa. He kept singing, "bumpy, bumpy.."

Smile everyone! It was such a beautiful day for a ball game and a beer. Poor Ian got carded by the ID Nazi, twice!

Time for a close up. Dad was talking baseball with me and Scott. This was our third year celebrating Father's Day at the park. We really enjoy the game and hope to continue the new tradition

On the way home Jonah warmed up to Scott, like he always does. The two had much fun playing hand games and hanging out in the back of the bus. I love watching Scott with Jonah; it shows just how much Scott will enjoy being a father.

To complete our outing we stopped off at Francis Park in Lansing to gather in front of the camera for a lovely family picture.
